Instead of Oreo, line with peanut butter first, then pudding.
this is nothing more than a pudding pie with oreos. nothing stepped up really. you can do this with reeses, chocolate chip cookies, anything.
That was incredibly boring. And easy and uninventive.
You should change the name that’s not oreo pie is chocolate pudding with oreos.
What happened to boycotting Oreos ? This is an ad for Nabisco, nothing more.
I was hoping for something innovative. This was just…..lame.
I dont really need the food channel to teach me to make stuff like this. Wish you return to the days of actually teaching how to COOK.
You can also just make the pie in an Oreo crust…that’s what I do and it’s a favorite, especially for kids 🙂
It is just way too sweet – which might be obvious, given the ingredients. You are better off making an Oreo Cookie crumb crust minus the filling and using the pudding and whipped cream, top with more crumbs.
Does it still count if you add cream cheese, use another brand than Oreo, cover with some magic shell, and serve slightly chilled? Cool for last minute guests.
That’s just some chocolate pudding with cool whip and throw some Oreos on it. That’s was dumb.. You don’t even need the crust.
More like pudding pie…. I would totally mix the whipped cream and chocolate pudding together to balance it out, and then add oreo cookie crumbs to the mix.
Honestly this doesn’t look that good. I make an Oreo crumb crust (reserve the filling), put a layer of cream cheese filling, then a layer of dark chocolate filling with crushed Oreos, then a homemade whipped cream topping with melted Oreo filling inside it. It’s delicious.
I made a variation (Oreo lasagna) and accidentally mentioned it to my doctor. He literally yelled at me, “Are you nuckin’ futs? Do you not know how bad that is for you?”
How is this considered oreo pie? It only has a few oreos at the bottom. This is ridiculous ? Sprinkling some cookies on top and pouring chocolate pudding doesn’t make it a pie…..
I’ll just got to my local Eat N’ Park restaurant and buy a Oreo Pie
Wow. food network is rubbish now. No wonder there is an obesity problem what a low effort “recipe”. Cookies drowning in pudding apparently qualifies as a “pie” recipe. Gross!!
Okay first of all this uses horrible ingredients and can be made so much better and this is food network isn’t it meant to be somewhat good
I like food network but this pie sounds icky. I’m assuming one uses a pudding mix with whipped topping (notice the word topping and not whipped cream). The whole thing sounds overly sweet, loaded with trans fats, artificial flavors and fillers. I’ll pass on this one.
Lolz i have made a wayyy better oreo pie than this one before, used actual oreo pie crust for one..this just looks amateur.
